Seasonal Unemployment Benefits for Part-Time Faculty

Did you know that as adjunct faculty in the California Community College system, you have the legal right to apply for and receive unemployment benefits between class terms, such as winter breaks and summers? You can collect these benefits even if you are relatively confident (ie: have a signed contract) that you will be teaching when the term begins again!
